Oxford Trail

Oxford Trail design
Project Location
Oxford Street Trailhead, 751 Oxford St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, USA
Scope

Rehabilitation of the existing trail segment from Wealthy St (west of river) into the Black Hills neighborhood at Oxford St, with proposed extension to Hall St and connections to Kent Trails and Millennium Park. Strengthening and extending this trail segment improves access to the regional trail system and the Grand River for the Black Hills neighborhood.

These trail improvements also set the stage for a community planning process focused on connecting Oxford Trail to Plaster Creek Trail and extending the connections to the Garfield Park, Roosevelt Park and Burton Heights neighborhoods.
