Scope:

Build a new 12-ft wide multi-use trail on the east bank of the river from Leonard Street to Ann Street, include safe at-grade street crossings, lighting, benches, and signage.

This project closes a major gap in the regional nonmotorized trail system by linking Downtown Grand Rapids to Riverside Park and, by extension, the White Pine Trail State Park. A future project phase will include underpasses at street and railroad bridges.
