Scope
Build a new 12-ft wide multi-use trail on the east bank of the river from Leonard St to Ann St, include safe at-grade street crossings, lighting, benches and signage.
This project closes a major gap in the regional non-motorized trail system by linking Downtown Grand Rapids to Riverside Park and, by extension, the White Pine Trail State Park.
A future project phase will include underpasses at street and railroad bridges.
